Is Indian Government responsible for illiteracy?

Yes. Indian Government is responsible for widespread illiteracy among Indians. Government claims that the literacy rate is 58%, where as the true literacy rate may be around 25%. Rest of the population are absolute illiterates or can only read and write their names. If you train a monkey, it can recognize its image, complex signs and also can write.

Why it purposely kept Indians as illiterates? The reason is if the people get educated, it is impossible to manipulate them based on their Caste, Religion, Language, Region and Culture. Nehru, Indira, Rajive and Italian Sonia ruling the country by capturing absolute political power. And the tens of Millions of poor and illiterate people suffering. Many of them can not find food for even one time a day. And they live on footpaths and slums. People are ravaged by famine, disease, floods, earth quakes, and man made disasters, where as Italian Sonia and her cronies looting the wealth and Soul of our country.

Nehru with his Socialistic and Communistic model created schools and colleges with limited capacity. And funded missionary schools and Madarsa schools to educate minority students. This idiot prevented (discouraging) majority to start educational institutions by adultery of Indian Constitution, which only favor minorities with funding of tax payers money. The stupid Indian constitution has no incentive (funding of tax payers money) for majority community to start and run educational institutions. This is the reason why majority (75%) Indians are illiterates to this day. Above all stupid Indian Government takeover, control and manage profitable Hindu Temples and diverted money to fund Madarsa schools, Missionary Schools, sending Muslims to Mecca and sending Christians to Jerusalem. They robbed Hindus which ever way it was possible. the sheepish Hindus and their leaders has no clue to to come out that situation.

The single biggest reason why there is widespread illiteracy in India is:
Indian Government prevented majority community to setup educational institutions by denying funding. They funded minority educational institutions with tax payers money at the expense of majority community. The other reason was the idiotic Government taken over, control and manage profitable Hindu temples and looted money to fund minority religious and education institutions.

For the last 30 years the private corporate educational institutions established numerous colleges and schools to educate Indian masses. With this the domination of missionaries on Indian education was lost. Still they are a force in education arena, with free tax payer money doled to them by stupid Indian Government.
